Psitech HFB 360

The Psitech HFB is a HIPPI frame buffer: a graphics display that is connected to a supercomputer via a HIPPI interface. "Frame buffer" implies that it is a very simple display, but that does not appear to be true: the system consists of two large boards: one is half occupied by ECL logic for interfacing with the HIPPI ports, and the other half has a SPARC CPU, four PROMS, and assorted other logic. The other board looks like a typical 90s high-end workstation graphics board: 14 Xilinx FPGAs, lots of ram, and a DAC per RGB port.
